UNICEF now charity partner of BCB Mehidy Hasan Miraz attends the deal signing ceremony

DHAKA: The United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund (UNICEF) has become Charity partner of Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB), for next two years.

An agreement was signed between UNICEF and BCB, at the latter’s office Wednesday (Dec 12). 

BCB CEO Nizamuddin Chowdhury Sujon and UNICEF Representative in Bangladesh Edouard Beigbeder signed the agreement.

Bangladesh national team cricketer Mehidy Hasan Miraz attended the program as a guest.

As per the agreement, jerseys of under-19 men and women teams will be adorned with UNICEF logo.

UNICEF will cooperate with BCB for cricketing development, especially emphasizing the under-18 girls.

It is said to be the first time that any sport team will carry UNICEF logo.
