DHAKA: Defending BPL champions Rangpur Riders clinched the maiden win in their 2nd match of Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) beating Khulna Titans by 8 runs on Sunday (January 6).
South African Rilee Rossouw’s impressive not out 76 off 52 balls helped Riders set a 170-runs target for the opponent sacrificing three wickets only.
Later, Riders bowlers defended the total restricting Titans to 161 for 5 in 20 overs.
In reply, Paul Stirling (61) and Junaid Siddique (33) gave Khulna an edge to the victory.
Ali Khan, Zahir Khan, and CR Brathwaite of Riders took one wicket each.
