DHAKA: Dhaka Dynamites have won by six wickets against Chittagong Vikings with 20 balls remaining in the eliminator of the sixth season of Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) on Monday (Feb 4).
Sunil Narine's whirlwind 31 and Upal Tharanga's half-century shut the door early on the Vikings at Sher-e-bangla National Cricket Stadium.
The Dynamites thank to bowlers as they go through to the second qualifier. Sunil Narine bagged four wickets for 15 for his side.
Dynamites lost four wickets chasing a 136-run target set by Vikings.
For the Vikings, pacer Khaled Ahmed was impressive with the ball, picking three for 20.
Sunil Narine was adjusted the Player of the Match for his 4-wicket haul.
Dynamites captain Shakib Al Hasan, at presentation ceremony, said: We have won back to back matches so the momentum is with us and whoever loses the first qualifier will lose momentum.
Earlier, Chittagong Vikings were beaten by Rajshahi Kings in the eliminator in 2016.
