DHAKA: Pacer Taskin Ahmed and all-rounder Farhad Reza has been recalled to the Bangladesh Squad for the Ireland Tri-Nation Series, scheduled to begin in next month.
BCB, in its verified facebook page, on Sunday (April 28) said, “Taskin Ahmed and Farhad Reza have been included in the Bangladesh Squad for the Ireland Tri-Nation Series”.
Earlier, Bangladesh announced 15-member squad for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 with the surprise inclusion of uncapped right-arm pacer Abu Jayed.
Taskin Ahmed, who has been plagued with injury concerns in the recent past, has bee axed from the squad. His expulsion from the World Cup squad creates anger among his fans.
Later, Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) have announced 19-man squad for the tri-nation series, adding Taskin Ahmed.
Bangladesh team will leave Dhaka on May 1.
