DHAKA: Pakistan have won the toss, and opted to bat first against South Africa in the 30th match of ICC Cricket Cup 2019 at Lord’s, London on Sunday (June 23).
The match is scheduled to begin at 3:30 pm (Bangladesh Time).
"Looks like a good batting pitch and some grass cover on it. We are not thinking about the pressure, just focusing on the game, which is very important for us," Pakistan skipper Sarfaraz Ahmed says after winning the toss.
"I was going to bowl first anyway, so good toss to lose," Faf du Plessis says.
South Africa have mustered just three points from six games of the tournament while Pakistan might still sneak into the semifinals, provided they win their remaining four games.
