CHITTAGONG: New Zealand`s first warm-up match on their Bangladesh tour has been cancelled because of unplayable ground conditions at the MA Aziz Stadium in the port city on Friday.

The match was scheduled to start at around 9:30am. Match refry declared Friday’s match cancelled as pitch curator made it confirm that the outfield is completely sodden.

Bangladesh Cricket Board Ad Hoc committee member Gazi Ashraf Hossain Lifu confirmed it to banglanews.

BCB Ad Hoc committee member AZM Nasir Uddin, also Venue Chairman, told banglanews, “The viewers who sold tickets for the first warm up match, they can enjoy second match with the tickets.”
