Dream 11 IPL 2020. 32nd Match. MI VS KKR
Played at Abu Dhabi on 16 October 2020
Brief Scorecard.
MI 149/2 in 16.5 Overs (Q de Kock 78*, RG Sharma 35, H Pandya 21*) beat KKR 148/5 (PJ Cummins 53* EJG Morgan 39*, RD Chahar 2/18, Bumrah 1/22) by 8 wickets
Player Of The Match: Q de Cock

Effervescent Mumbai Indians bulldogged sorry looking KKR by 8 wickets at Abu Dhavi in an absolutely one-sided contest. Reigning champions again climbed to the top of the point’s table. Batting first KKR struggled against very probing and penetrative MI bowling attack and was looking miserable as 61/5 by 10.4 overs. Cummins better known for his bowling pairing with Morgan added 87 runs in 9.2 overs in the unfinished 6th wicket as KKR could post below par 148/5 in allotted overs. MI cruised past the target scoring 149/2 by 16.5 overs. Flamboyant Protean   Q de Kock (78*) ruthlessly punished KKR bowling, RG Sharma produced a cultured innings of 35. The 94 runs first wicket partnership laid the foundation. H Pandya had useful little cameo of unbeaten 21 as MI cruised to victory by 8 wickets in 16.5 overs.

It is business session. We are not sure if matters do not improve a lot soon KKR will stay in the fight as all teams in the lower half are not expected letting things at all comfortable for others. KKR batting looked pretty ordinary, as the top order had really no answer to very incisive MI attacks. Chahar (2/18), Bumrah (1/22), Pandya (0/23) offered no free bees. KKR was looking miserable at 61/5 when Aussie pacer Cummins joined Irish Morgan for a dynamic unfinished 87 runs 6th wicket partnership. Cummins scored 53 off 36 deliveries striking 5 fours and 2 sixes. Morgan was little sober remaining unbeaten on 39 in 29 deliveries. Yet 148/5 appeared at least 25 runs to less against a very powerful MI batting.

On a wicket where KKR batsmen made it look like mine field MI openers Q de Kock (78*) and Sharma (35) batted with ease and comfort. 94 runs first wicket partnership in business as usual fashion laid the foundation. SR Yadav could not get going. But Q de Cock (78*) played an exceptional innings of aggressive intent. H Pandya had useful batting practice finishing the match in style smoking unbeaten 21 in 11 deliveries. MI won by 8 wickets with 3.1 overs to spare. MI is back again at the top of the points table with 12 points from 8 matches. KKR would need improving a lot for staying on the hunt.
