Toggi World, an indoor amusement theme park for children at levels 8 and 9 of Bashundhara City Shopping Mall in the capital’s Panthapath area, saw a huge number of visitors on Friday after its reopening.
After a closure of over nine months since March 19 due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the theme park reopened on the first day of the New Year adhering to recommended health guidelines.
During a visit, it was found that a huge number of people thronged Toggi World from different parts of the capital and its adjoining areas.
A good number of children along with their guardians expressed their satisfaction after enjoying different rides and games of the park.
Children were seen enjoying different events like the ‘Bumper Car’, ‘Gyroscope’, ‘3D Extreme Flight’, ‘4D Monster Eye’ and ‘Kids Bowling’.
“Toggi World remained shut since March 19 due to the coronavirus pandemic but it reopened to children on the first day of the New Year,” its Manager (Operations) Mohammad Maksudur Rahman said.
Mentioning that they have a total of 15 rides, including Gyroscope, Mini Tower, Bumper Car and Little Plane, 43 games, three soft playgrounds and an eight-line Kids Bowling, he said huge children flocked to the park with their parents.
He said there is also a party room with a capacity of 50 where various events, including birthday parties, can be arranged.
The entry fee for different games and sports like ‘Space’ is Tk 50, any five rides is Tk 350, eight rides Tk 550, and the fee for four rides and three games is Tk 500.
Toggi World has now an expanded space of 37,000 square feet having a new decoration and design with a capacity to host around 5,000 people.
