After Sri Lanka, England now defeated Bangladesh by eight wickets in their Super 12 match of the ICC T20 World Cup in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday.

Winning toss, Bangladesh opted to bat and scored 124 runs for nine against the English in their Group 1 match.

Mushfiqur Rahim took the highest 29 runs off 30 balls. 

Tymal Mills bagged three wickets while Liam Livingstone and Moeen Ali picked up two wickets each.

In reply, England easily managed 126 for two with 35 balls to spare at the Cricket Stadium. 

Jason Roy took the highest 61 runs off 38 balls while Dawid Malan got 28 runs.

Shoriful Islam and Nasum Ahmed picked up one wicket each.    

Bangladesh lost the first Super 12s match to Sri Lanka while England beat West Indies in their first match.
