<p><strong>Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Tuesday announced the allocation of Rs 6,21,940 crore to the Defence Ministry in the Union Budget 2024-25, a 4.79 per cent increase from the previous financial year. The budget allocation to the Defence Ministry is the highest among all ministries.</strong></p>
