BCL activists lock into clash with quota protesters at DU

A clash between anti-quota protesters and Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) activists erupted in front of Bijay Ekattor Hall of Dhaka University on Monday (July 15) afternoon.

At this time, BCL men vandalized some motorcycles.

The clash broke out after 3 pm later it spread to Mall Chattor, Fuller Road, Nilkhet area.

According to eyewitnesses, this afternoon quota reform protesters called a demonstration. At this time, news exploded that some students were detained and assaulted at Bijoy Ekattor Hall.

A few agitated students brought out a procession towards Bijoy Ekattor Hall.

At one point, a clash between anti-quota protesters and BCL activists erupted.

Currently, the entire campus situation is at a standstill. However, Bijoy Ekattor Hall, Zia Hall, Bangabandhu Hall and Master Da Surjo Sen Hall are occupied by BCL leaders and activists.
