The Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and its equivalent examinations of July 21, 23, and 25 will now be held after August 11, as per government decision.
The decision has been taken considering students’ safety amid nationwide violence occurred centering quota reform movement.
On Thursday (July 25), Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee President and Dhaka Education Board Chairman Professor Tapan Kumar Sarkar told the media, "All the postponed exams will be held after August 11."
However, according to the schedule July 28 examination will be held as per schedule.
Replying to a question Professor Tapan Kumar Sarkar said, "It is not yet decided if any more exams can be postponed as the existing situation is not normal, will be informed if any decision is taken.”
