Bashundhara Group Managing Director Sayem Sobhan Anvir said the largest business conglomerate of the country always stands beside journalists and works for their sake.

He made the statement as leaders of the Chattogram Union of Journalists (CUJ) accorded a floral reception to him at Hotel Radisson Blu in the port city recently.

The journalist delegation comprises Chattogram CUJ President and Banglanews24.com Deputy Editor Tapan Chakraborty and General Secretary M Shamsul Islam.

Sayem Sobhan Anvir said Bashundhara Group leaves no stone unturned for welfare of journalists and it will stand by the members of Chattogram Union of Journalists.

At this stage, CUJ general secretary M Shamsul Islam tendered thanks and gratitude to Sayem Sobhan Anvir for supporting family of Bangladesh Pratidin's Chattogram Bureau photographer Didarul Alam after his demise.
