Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (JSD) President ASM Abdur Rab and General Secretary Shahid Uddin Mahmud Swapan demanded the release of 'Shonibar Bikel' directed by Mostofa Sarwar Farooki.

They made the plea through a statement sent to the media on Monday (Feb 6).

According to the statement, the movie 'Shonibar Bikel' includes talented and popular actors of the country as well as famous stars of the world. The movie has been stuck for almost three and a half years due to censor complications.

"If the movie is released, the image of Bangladesh will rise. The movie will even make a strong appeal for religious tolerance," the statement also reads.
