Child killed as truck hits in capital

A child died after being hit by a truck in Mohammadpur three streets (Tinrasta) of the capital.

The incident happened on Wednesday (March 15) around 5 pm.

The deceased was identified as Zayeda, 7.

However, around 6:30 pm she was taken to Dhaka Medical College (DMCH) hospital, where doctor declared her dead.

DMCH police outpost in-charge (inspector) Md. Bachchu Mia confirmed the matter.
