A man was killed and 20 others were injured after a passenger bus went off the road and fell into a roadside ditch in Kaliganj upazila of Jhenaidah on Friday (Mar 24). 

The deceased was identified as Ibrahim Hossain, 35, helper of the bus. 

According to the locals, the bus was coming from Jashore and was heading towards Kaliganj and when it reached Keyabagan bus stand area then the accident happened.

Abdur Rahim Mollah, officer-in-charge of Kaliganj police station said that the driver lost his control over the steering and fell into the roadside ditch.
