Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) carried out a special cleaning and mosquito control drive in the Dhanmondi residential area today.

Local Government Division Secretary Md Rezaul Maksud Jahedi attended as the chief guest, while DSCC Administrator Md Shahjahan Mia oversaw the operation.

The Waste Management and Health Departments, along with Dhanmondi Society, took part in the initiative. Around 450 cleaning staff, 50 mosquito control workers, and 200 volunteers from the Red Crescent Society, BD Clean, and Dhanmondi Society joined the effort.

The area was divided into seven zones, focusing on roads, parks, mosques, lakes, and the Eidgah to ensure thorough cleaning and mosquito control.
