The High Court (HC) on Thursday (March 30) will deliver the verdict if Mohammad Zahangir Alam will get back the mayoral post of Gazipur City Corporation (GCC).
The HC bench of Justice Zafar Ahmed and Justice Md Bashir Ullah today (March 28) set the date.
On November 25, 2021, Zahangir Alam was expelled from the Awami League for making derogatory comments about the martyrs of the Liberation War.
On the same day, he was suspended from the post of GCC mayor.
