Prothom Alo's correspondent Shamsuzzaman Shams, who was sued under the Digital Security Act (DSA), has been produced before a Dhaka Court on Thursday (March 30).

He was taken to court around 9:30am.

DMP's prosecution Division sources confirmed the matter.

Shamsuzzaman Shams was shown arrested under Ramna Police Station, sources added.

Earlier, police arrested Shams from Savar on the outskirts of the capital early on Wednesday following a news report published in the daily that allegedly tarnished the image of the government.
