Fire at Bangabazar, 50 firefighting units working

A devastating fire broke out at the Bangabazar market in the capital around 6:10 am on Tuesday (April 4).

A total of 47 firefighting units are trying to douse the blaze.

Fire Service Control Room Duty Officer Rafi Al Farooq confirmed the matter.

He said initially, the cause of the fire and the volume of the damage was not known. 

Besides, there is still no report of any causalities, he added.
