Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi conveyed his warm greetings to Prime Minister of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina and to the people of Bangladesh on the auspicious occasion of Eid-al-Fitr.

In his message, Prime Minister Modi noted that in celebrating Eid-al-Fitr with traditional fervour, people across the world get reminded of the values of brotherhood and togetherness. 

He wished for peace, harmony, good health and happiness for peoples of the two countries and across the world.

Prime Minister Modi also deeply cherished Prime Minister Hasina’s personal contribution in making the multifaceted partnership between India and Bangladesh a role model for good neighbourly relations. 

He looked forward to continuing working with her to take the relationship between the two countries to newer heights.
