Ten bodies have been found on a trawler that washed ashore in Nazirartek Beach area in Cox's Bazar on Sunday (April 23).

Rafiqul Islam, officer-in-charge of Cox's Bazar sadar model police station, confirmed the matter. 

The bodies inside the trawler were decomposed, said Rafiqul Islam. 

However, the name of the dead bodies could not be known immediately. 

Rafiqul Islam further said that efforts are underway to identify the bodies. 

"The owner of the trawler could not be ascertained. We think they were killed in a robbery incident," he added.
