DHAKA: Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Barrister Shafiq Ahmed said Tuesday that everything would be supplied on demand from members of the panel of lawyers and investigation agency for holding trial of war criminals and violators of human rights in 1971.

While talking to newsmen at his office, the minister said the government would ensure necessary transport and manpower to the lawyers’ panel and inquiry agency for staging the trial of international standards.

He said three vehicles were sanctioned for the panel and investigators Tuesday.

Replying to a query, the law minister said Jamaat organized a seminar in London on legal matters of war-crime trial to serve their interest. The government had examined and brought amendments in the law.

“The law is of international standards,” Barrister Shafiq said and reaffirmed that the war criminals would be tried under this law.
