India's Border Security Force (BSF) arrested two Bangladeshi people and seized 51 gold bars from a bus at India's Petrapole checkpost on Monday (May 9).
According to information, BSF recovered 6.95 kg of gold from Royal Maitri International bus's engine at the checkpost.
The arrestees are, Md Mostafa, bus driver and helper Matiur Rahman Akand.
Benapole checkpost ICP BGB Camp Commander Md Mahbub Hossain confirmed the matter.
The estimated price of the gold bars is around 6 Tk crore, he said, adding a case was filed with Petrapole Police Station.
