Cyclone Mocha: Flights cancelled at Shah Amanat Airport 

As cyclone Mocha intensified into an extremely severe cyclonic storm over east central Bay of Bengal, Chattogram Shah Amanat International Airport authority suspended its flight operational activities for 42 hours.
 
Meanwhile, Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) sources said that Cox's Bazar Airport will also remain closed from Saturday 7am to Sunday 7pm.
 
Wing Commander Taslim Ahmed, Director of Shah Amanat International Airport, said operational activities of all international and domestic flights suspended at Shah Amanat International Airport from 6am on Saturday in view of the great danger signal 8 advised for the maritime ports.
 
The next decision will be taken after considering the weather situation, he added.
 
Cox's Bazar maritime port was advised to hoist Great Danger Signal 10 while Chattogram and Payra ports asked to keep hoisting Great Danger Signal 8 as extremely cyclone Mocha makes its way to the southeastern coast of Bangladesh.

Besides, Mongla port has been advised to keep hoisting Warning Signal 4.
