Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) on Saturday (May 13) opened a control room to monitor telecommunication and internet services during the cyclone Mocha.
The contact numbers of the control room are +8801552-202854 and +8801552-202886, according to the telecom regulator.
BTRC issued a press release in this regard today.
Besides, all licensees have been instructed to act in this regard from BTRC and a monitoring team has been formed in the commission.
Earlier today, State Minister for Disaster Management and Relief Enamur Rahman announced that Cox's Bazar maritime port was advised to hoist Great Danger Signal 10 while Chattogram and Payra ports asked to keep hoisting Great Danger Signal 8 as extremely cyclone Mocha makes its way to the southeastern coast of Bangladesh.
Besides, Mongla port has been advised to keep hoisting Warning Signal 4.
