The police recovered body of an unidentified woman from the footpath next to BUET in the capital during the storm.

The incident happened around 8:30 PM on Tuesday (May 23).

Sub-Inspector (SI) Azad Rahman of Chawkbazar police station confirmed the matter.

He said the deceased could not be identified, but her age is approximately, 35 years.

According to locals she used to beg, It is believed that she may have died due to illness, Azad said.

The cause of death will be known after the autopsy report, he added.
