Three people were killed as a bus rammed a CNG-run auto-rickshaw on Habiganj-Sayestaganj road in Sayestaganj upazila on Sunday (June 4) morning.

The deceased were identified as Rafiq Miah, 35, Ziaur Rahman, 36 and Musa Miah, 64.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Shaistaganj Police Station Mohammad Nazmul Haque Kamal confirmed the matter. 

Local sources said that the ‘Modern Paribahan' bus hit the auto-rickshaw when it was going to Habiganj district town, leaving the trio dead on the spot.

On information, fire service officials recovered the dead bodies.
