Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested a fugitive, who was sentenced to 17 years of rigorous-punishment in an arms case, from Dhaka on Tuesday night.

Abu Musa alias Picchi Monsur, accused in 8 cases including murder, robbery and illegal arms trading, was arrested from the capital's Chawk Bazar area.

RAB-7 Feni Company Commander Squadron Leader Mohammad Sadequl Islam confirmed the matter today (June 7).

He said tipped off, RAB 7 and 10 conducted a joint operation and arrested Musa, as he was hiding for 10 years to avoid 17 years of rigorous punishment.
