A Natore fertilizer businessman was killed after a bus hit him on Natore-Pabna highway at Ahmodpur area on Tuesday (June 27).  

The deceased was identified as Md. Abul Hosen, 55, hailed from Boalia village.

Jholmolia highway police outpost in charge inspector Masud Rana confirmed the matter.

He said a local bus hit the deceased when he was going home after finishing his business works. After the incident Abul died on the spot.

Action in this regard will be taken and efforts are underway to identify the bus, the inspector added.
