Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested a YouTuber introducer for allegedly raping a 16-year-old girl in Narayanganj on Sunday (August 13). 

RAB-11 and 9 in a joint drive arrested Al Amin, 33, from Israk Enterprise in South Kushighat Bazar under Sylhet Moglabazar Police Station.

Senior ASP of RAB 11 Rizwan Saeed Ziku confirmed the matter through a press release this noon.

He said Al Amin is the accused in a case Suppression of Women and Child Torture Act under Siddhirganj Police Station.

On July 18, first the accused brought the victim to his house and then filmed while raping her, said RAB officer Ziku. 

Later, on July 21, Al Amin again raped the victim by threating her to spread the previous video, he said.

However, the arrestee went into hiding after victim’s father lodged a complaint with Siddhirganj police station as plaintiff, he added.
