Prisoner dies in Dhaka Central Jail

A prisoner named Somrat Hosen, 26, died in Dhaka Central Jail (Keraniganj).

However, on Friday (August 18) around 2 am, he was taken unconscious to the emergency department of Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) where the doctor on duty declared him dead.

Dhaka Medical Police Camp Incharge (Inspector) Md. Bachchu Mia confirmed the matter.
