LAXMIPUR: A clash between two groups of ruling Awami League-backed Chhatra League and Jubo League over holding raffle draw in an Eid fair in Sadar upazila on Sunday morning left 21 people injured.
According to police and witnesses, the leaders of BCL and Jubo League locked in a clash at Shantirhat Bazar at about 10 am.
On information, police rushed to the spot and took the situation under control.
Among the injured, 10 were sent to Laxmipur Sadar Hospital in critical condition.
Both the groups filed separate complaints with police, said Sadar thana OC Ismail Mia.
