The Rapid Action Battalion today said that they arrested 10 people for stabbing three policemen during a clash among BNP activists, police and Awami League (AL) activists in Narayanganj on October 31.
They were arrested during a raid at a hotel in Dhaka’s Gulshan area on Thursday (November 2) morning.
ANM Imran Khan, assistant director of Rab's Legal and Media Wing, confirmed the matter.
However, the names of the arrested were not disclosed immediately.
Earlier, three policemen were injured in a clash among BNP picketers, police and AL activists in Narayanganj on October 31.
The three injured policemen are — inspector Humayun Kabir, assistant sub-inspector Md Matin and constable Md Nurul.
The clashes took place in the Panchrukhi Bazar area of the Dhaka-Sylhet Highway between 8:30am to 10:00am on Tuesday.
