CHITAGONG: Police, in a drive, nabbed 57 people with two firearms from different upazilas of the district on Monday night.

The identity of the detainees could not be known yet but most of them were accused in case filed over recent subversive acts.

Police sources said to banglanews that among the detainees, 32 were held from Lohagara upazila, four from Satkania, seven Sitakunda, four Bhozpur, four from Potia, one each from Anwara, Zorarganj, Rangunia, Mirsarai, Fatikchhari.
