DHAKA: Ain o Salish Kendra (ASK) at the Dhaka Reporters Unity (DRU) on Tuesday expressed its apprehension about the emergence of militancy in Bangladesh.

Executive Director of ASK M Nur Khan Liton came up with the apprehension in a press briefing at the Sagor-Runi auditorium of DRU.

He said that they have surveyed the human rights situation of the country in 2013.

ASK executive director also said that there is a strong propensity of the emergence of militancy in the country if the political parties do not reach a consensus.

Senior Deputy Director of ASK Nina Goswami, Sanaiya Fahim Ansari, M Tipu Sultan, Abu Ahmed Fazal were among others also present in the press meet.
