ABG Bashundhara has distributed warm clothes among 2,000 cold-hit people in Rangpur.
Under the philanthropic initiative of Bashundhara Group Managing Director Sayem Sobhan Anvir, the blankets were distributed at Rajballave High School in Gangachara upazila on Monday.
Hossain Ali, Mecher Ali of Rajballave area, Jinna Begum and Nurnahar of Jaydev area are a couple of beneficiaries of the programme. They have expressed satisfaction after receiving blankets from ABG Bashundhara.
Rangpur Superintendent of Police Ferdous Ali Chowdhury said that Bashundhara Group has been doing good work for a long time.
“Bashundhara is helping helpless people with blankets in the winter. The people of the country will benefit more if the initiative of good works is continued,” he said.
Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI) Rangpur’s SP Zakir Hossain, Additional Deputy Commissioner Habibur Hasan Rumi, Bashundhara Group Executive Director Sazedul Karim, Gajaghanta Union Chairman Liaquat Ali were present as special guests.
The guests appreciated the philanthropic initiative of Bashundhara Group managing director Sayem Sobhan Anvir. They hope that helpless poor people who are suffering from cold will be happy to get blankets to protect them from the cold.
