DHAKA: Professor of Dhaka University Mezbah Kamal alleged that a class of intellectuals was still trying to implement Minus-2 formula.

“They are saying it is fight of two women. But in fact, it is a fight between two ideologies,” he added.

He came up with the observation in a seminar titled “Violent politics, country at stake, -Future Reflections- at Lakeshore Hotel in the capital on Saturday morning. Bangladesh Orthoniti Samity organized the seminar.

Mezbah Kamal said, “The government has failed to make upcoming 10th general election acceptable. We have to think about making 11th election acceptable.”

“Jamaat is working as international militants group getting fund from abroad, also has internal funding. Their sources of fund have to be stopped and their bank, insurance and all other institutions have to be nationalized,” he added.

He also said that war crimes trials should be ended at possible time.

With professor Abul Barakat in the chair, the seminar was addressed, among others, by Syed Shamsul Haq, Kazi Khalekuzzaman, Dr Forasuddin Ahmed, professor AK Azad.
