The Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) has increased the price of a 12kg liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) cylinder by Tk 41 to Tk 1,478 from Tk 1,433.

In January 2024, BERC increased the price of a 12 kg LPG cylinder by Tk 29 to Tk 1,433 from Tk 1,404 for the month of January. 

BERC authority announced the new price at a press conference organized at the Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission office today (February 4).

According to the announcement, the new price will be in effect from 6:00 pm today.
