Tangail saree’s GI certificate handed over to PM

Geographical Indications (GI) certificate of Tangail saree, Narsingdi Amrita Sagar Banana (Kola), and Gopalganj roshogolla has been handed over to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasian today (February 11). 

Industry Minister Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun and Secretary Zakia Sultana handed down the GI certificate to the PM at the beginning of the Council of Ministers meeting.

Later, the premier unveiled the cover of the poetry book of Science and Technology Minister Yafez Osman.
