SIRAJGANJ: Two people were killed and 10 others injured in a gas cylinder explosion of microbus after collision with a private car and then knocked by a truck from behind in Madda Badyaghat area under Kamarkhand upazila of the district on Thursday night.

The identity of the deceased and injured could not be known immediately.

Local sources said that a private car collided head-on with the microbus at around 9:45pm and later a truck knocked it from behind and then gas cylinder of the microbus exploded, leaving two people burnt to death on the spot and 10 others injured.

On information, fire brigade and police persons rushed to the spot and doused the fire.

The injured were sent to Sirajganj Sadar Hospital.
