CHITTAGONG: Three motorcyclists were killed in a road accident in Jafarabad area under Mirsarai upazila of the district early Friday.

The deceased were identified as Kafil Uddin, 36, Ataur Rahman, 35 and Forkan, 22. All of them hailed from Banshkhali upazila of the district.

Jorarganj highway police outpost In-charge sergeant Mehedi Hasan told banglanews that an unknown vehicle hit the motorbike carrying the three men around 2:30 am while they were going to Chittagong from Comilla, leaving two dead on the spot and one injured.

Later, locals rushed the injured to hospital where duty doctor declared him dead.
