MUNSHIGANJ: Ferry services on Mawa-Kawrakandi river route resumed on Saturday morning after an eight-hour halt due to poor visibility caused by dense fog.

Confirming the matter, Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Corporation (BIWTC) Mawa Office Assistant Chandra Shekhar told banglanews, “The stuck ferries have started moving towards to their destination at around 8:00am after fog cleared.

Earlier, Ferry services on Mawa-Kawrakandi river route came to a halt from 12:30am due to dense fog.
