Police nabs 71 in Sylhet

SYLHET: Police in several drives arrested at least 71 people from various spots of four districts in Sylhet division from 8:00am Friday to 8:00am Saturday.

Sources said that the detainees are accused of subversive activities, drug peddling and robbery.

Sylhet Range Additional Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Sakhawat Hossain confirmed the matter to banglanews.
