DHAKA: Bangladeshi American Qazi Shahriar Rahman Sujan have conquered Uhuru peak of Mount Kilimanjaro of Tanzania.

Shahriar ascended 5,895 -meter (19,340 ft) altitude of Kilimanjaro at 2:30pm on February 14 (Tanzania locla time).

He, earlier, ascended Rainier of USA, Shasta, longs Peak, Half Dome, Whitney and La Malinche of Mexico, Pico de orizaba.

Hiking is the passion of Shahriar. For the past few years, he has been hiking.

Shahriar is an electrical engineer. He completed double Masters in Electrical Engineering. He is now working at Cadence Design Systems at Silicon Valley in California.

Shahriar is the eldest son Bangladesh Bank general manager (retired) Dr. Qazi Mohammed Hafizur Rahman and Selina Rahman. He now lives in San Francisco of California with his family members.
