Bullet-wounded BD-man dies in India

KURIGRAM: Bullet-wounded Bangladeshi cattle trader, who was shot by Border Security Force (BSF) of India on Saturday morning, from Fulbari frontier area died in India on Saturday night.

The deceased was identified as Mukul Mia, son of Ismail Hossain, hailed from Balatari village under Fulbari upazila.

Lieutenant colonel Mofazzal Hossain Akand told banglanews BGB personnel held flag meetings as a part of their effort to bring the body in the country.

BGB sources said BSF personnel of Boskotal camp opened fire rubber bullets at “smugglers who were smuggling cattle” near international pillar-934 at Naodanga union of the upazilla on Saturday morning.

BSF jawans detained Bangladeshi national Mukul Mia after the incident and admitted to a hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
