DHAKA: A person was killed and four other were injured in a road accident in Chairman Bari area of Banani of the city on Monday morning.

The deceased was identified as Abdur Rahman, 35, son of Syed Ali.

Sources said that a Gabtoli-bound goods-laden truck tunred turtle on the street as its driver lost control over the steering in the area around 5:30am, leaving the man dead on the spot and injured others.

Banani Thana Sub-Inspector Shafiul Alam confirmed the matter to banglanews.
