BAGERHAT: A Bagerhat court on Sunday awarded death penalty to four forest robbers and life term imprisonment to six others in a murder case.

District and Session Court Judge SM Solaiman handed down the verdict in presence of the five awardees.

The court passed the order after the convicts’ involvement was proved in the killing of moneylender Ilias Howlader on November 19, 1998.
