The Bangladesh Meteorological Department has forecast rain or thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds across the country over the next 24 hours from 9am Wednesday.

Most areas in Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram, and Sylhet divisions are likely to experience light to moderate showers, with chances of heavy to very heavy rainfall in some places.

Day temperatures may drop slightly, while night temperatures are expected to remain stable.

On Tuesday, Sylhet recorded the highest temperature at 35.8°C, while the lowest was 23.3°C in Bandarban.

In Dhaka, sunset is at 6:48pm today, and sunrise tomorrow is at 5:12am.
