DHAKA: At least four people sustained burn injuries when a fire broke out at a clothing factory in Aminpara area of Mohurpotti in South Keraniganj on Saturday morning.

The injured – factory owner Jahagir Hossain, 35, and 3 workers-- Shadat Hossain, 60, Dullal Hossain, 20, and Mohammad Rajib, --  are undergoing treatment at Dhaka Medical College Hospital.

They suffered burn-injuries on different parts of their body, on-duty doctors at DMCH said.

Witness Rubel Hossain, a resident of the area, told banglanews that the injured were sleeping inside the Iva Pant Factory. Began around 6:00am, the flame might have been originated from the flare of cigarette or burner, he added.
